Dates

Hayground Camp's Summer 2012 season begins on Monday, July 2nd and ends on Friday, August 24th.  Camp is closed on Wednesday, July 4th. 

Dates for special events are as follows: 

Counselor Orientation (Hayground Staff only): Orientation for new and returning counselors is from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 28th, Friday, June 29th, and Saturday, June 30th.  

Open House:  Saturday, June 30th, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  This event, open to families enrolled in the current camp season, is a great opportunity to visit the campus, see your child's room, and meet your child's counselors and campmates.    

First Day of Camp: Monday, July 2nd, 9:00 a.m. 

Wednesday, July 4th: Camp closed.

Camp BBQ: Dates in July and August to be announced.  

Field Day:  Wednesday, August 15th.  Campers only. 

The Follies:  Friday, August 17th.  Families welcome; time to be announced.  

The Hayground Dance:  Friday, August 17th.  This evening dance is open to all campers aged 9 and up.  Time to be announced.  

The Hayground 500:  Wednesday, August 22nd.  Families welcome; time to be announced.  

Camp Picnic/Last Day of Camp:  Friday, August 24th, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Camp ends at 1:00.
